Monique Driving You was established in 2013. Our founder, Monique Buurmans has been by-appointment driving in Hawke’s Bay since 2009. We understand what you need to be confident and comfortable.
Our team of friendly, caring drivers take pride in developing personal relationships with those in their care. We are all police checked and have current first aid qualifications. We all understand and comply with the passenger service safety standards controlled by the New Zealand Transport Agency.
Because we operate on a (mostly) pre-booked basis, we guarantee to be on time every time. And we’re happy to stay with you during your appointment as a family member would, and even take notes to pass on to family or rest home staff if you’d like us to.
We are an ACC approved transport provider (vendor code with ACC is VAC214) and so if you’ve had an accident your case manager should be happy to approve your travel with us when you ask them. We also accept Total Mobility vouchers for anyone who is disabled or has special needs. These are available for most elderly people so ask us for more information.
Our fleet of seven vehicles is comfortable, very well maintained and carefully selected to meet the needs of our wide range of clients. (And for those who are keen on this - we currently have these models - Kia Niro, Toyota Prius, Toyota Hiace, Skoda Roomster, and Volkswagon Caddy). Four of our vehicles are helping keep emission out of the environment by being hybrid vehicles.
We drive throughout the greater Napier and Hastings area but will travel as far as you need us to - into, out of and throughout Hawke’s Bay. Our vehicles are based in three locations within Hawke’s Bay, so if you need a ride after an appointment and your usual driver is tied up, you won’t be left waiting.
