NicolaI moved from the UK 13 years ago and love the lifestyle that New Zealand offers. I have three children and share my time between being a busy mum and driving the wonderful and diverse range of clients who call on Monique Driving You to get them to where they need to.
My experience lies in the social sector as I’ve spent many years supporting and enabling people with disabilities to live independently in their communities. I believe strongly in a person's right to make their own choices regarding their own life, and consider being part of the Monique Driving You team an extension of this. We are so much more than just a transport operator and our clients will tell you that. |
Lyn Napier is my home town and I have lived here most of my life, apart from a year in Mount Maunganui when I went to work for Trust Power. As well as driving, I also work as a care giver, and in my spare time I’m a vocalist with the Hawke’s Bay Jazz Club Big Band, and ‘60s group, Sweet Peas, plus jazz group, Blue Champagne. I also hand sew Teddy Bears for the new arrivals in our family. Yes, it’s a busy life!
I have been driving with Monique Driving You for two years and love every minute of it. We have an awesome team of drivers and lots of wonderful clients, who love to tell us how great our service is. Driving for Monique is very satisfying and it’s great to be a companion driver. |
JanineAfter returning from university in the USA, I taught PE for a few years then worked in various administration roles including 12 years at The University of Auckland. I also taught tennis for a number of years while still playing competitively. Three years ago I moved from Auckland to Hawke’s Bay to enjoy the lifestyle.
My father was involved in the tourism industry driving tour buses for a long time and enjoyed meeting people and assisting them wherever possible while they were enjoying the country. I guess I have inherited some of his traits as I also enjoy driving, meeting new people and helping out where I can. |
BeateBorn in Germany, I’ve travelled widely and settled with my family in New Zealand in 1999. As a mother of three children and with a Bachelor of Social Work, I think I bring a wealth of experience and care to our clients. I love working with the great bunch at Monique Driving You and meeting and helping people.

PaulHawke’s Bay born and bred and after spending my first 21 years in the Bay, I moved to Wanganui for 18 months and then spent 33 years in Wellington. Together with my wife of 38 years I’d planned to move back to the Bay on retirement but came back 10 years earlier for a better lifestyle. My daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren followed us. The move back meant my 40 years working for the NZPO and Telecom came to an end and since November 2015, I’ve been driving for Monique Driving You two to three days a week. I also enjoy having my grandchildren after school.
I love most sports but football is my passion (I was a Hawke’s Bay under-16 representative but that was a long time ago!). Being brought up in a racing family, I still love a flutter on the horses. |
